Turkish lobby is about to dominate U.S. Congress!

Turkish-U.S. Friendship Group has reached the number of 133 members in US Congress. If five more Turkish members are to take place in the Congress then Turkish lobby will be the largest group that is being represented.

Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu answered the questions of Turkish journalists in Washington. Davutoğlu said "We are in Washington due to mutual visits. Yesterday we had several extensive talks with several important parties like chairmen of the dominating groups in U.S. Congress and effective committees like The Foreign Relations Committee."

Davutoğlu continued his words "I would like to share a very pleasing progress which is the number of Turkish-U.S. Friendship Group members in US Congress has reached 133. This is a serious number of members as it indicates to be the second or the third largest group in the congress. Hopefully with five more members joining in, the group will be the largest one."
